For a belated birthday gift, Daddy was taken out to dinner last night by Mommy, Gramma, Great Gramma and their friend Nona (an honorary Aunt. You hear that, Nona? You're our kittycat aunt!)
They went to a Mexican restaurant and Gramma snuck in presents. So the waitstaff saw it was Daddy's birthday and started singing to him - with the LOUDEST noisemakers Mommy's EVAR heard. Everyone was lookin'. Daddy was so embarrassed. Heehee. He enjoyed himself anyway. Especially cuz they gave him a shot of tequila instead of a birthday cake.
Sorry there are no pictures. Mommy forgot the camera. Hope everyone had a good Independance Day!
Mommy said that Gramma had a good laugh when she told her that she has to tuck me into bed every night or else I get my feelings hurt. Does any other kitty like to be tucked into bed for night-night?
P.S. Thank you EVERYONE for all your comments. We pay attention to them and love them and are trying to be as personable as possible cuz we love you guys. We've been havin' trouble getting around to blogs lately cuz of busy stuff.

We can't believe she forgot the camera! How could she.... And we understand ALL about busy and having a hard time visiting others - been there, not done it (the visiting, hahahahahahahahahahaha).

That sounds like a fun birthday celebration! I do not get tucked in, but as soon as my Mommie heads upstairs to bed, I follow, because I love bedtime.

Neither of us gets tucked in but I am always around when the wee ones get tucked in then I go sleep on the PM's bed and wait for her to go to bed.

Yeah, we know about forgetting the camera. Crazy Lady forgot the camera when they went to the lake for the 4th of July!!! So, we stayed home and took pictures of ourselves. And, we don't get tucked in at bedtime because we keep moving around the bed all night. But, Tom always beats Crazy Lady upstairs and is in bed waiting for her when she turns in.

Belated happy purrfday to yor daddy. Sounds like he had a good time. I dont get tucked in cos miewmie goes to sleep before me. I has to inspekt all the wardrobes and fings before I settle down. So I does a tour round the bedroom and miewmie falls asleep while I'm in and owt.

I don't get tucked in. I wait until mom has stopped thrashin' around to get comfy and then I jump up on the bed and lay in the crook of her knees.
Congratulations again to your Daddy. It sounds like your Mommy and Grandma had a good time emabarrasing him at the restaurant. Our mom would have been red in the face too. She doesn't like a fuss made. We hate to be tucked in - We want to go to bed when we want to - not when someone tells us its time - but we are 15 afterall. We used to have a woofie that had to be tucked in to be and she wanted to be there at 9:30 and she wanted to sleep until about 9:30 the next morning, and got very grumpy if she didn't get her sleep.
