Hai everycat! I reached a milestone!
My beans aren't really sure what my life was like 'afore they gots me, but they know it made me a really cranky, hurt kitty. Mommy's been givin' me love therapy (and Daddy helps too) and I've been coming around.
First milestone, I stopped drawing blood whenever anyone petted me.
Second milestone, I would give mommy head-bumpies and let her kiss me without fear of retaliation.
Third milestone, I was then able to snuzzle with mommy.
And for this fourth milestone, I climbed into mommy's lap! She was so impressed!
But Kilroy got jealous. He came over and tried to snuzzle with mommy too.
So I said, "DIS IS MY MOMMA TIME!" and sat up and went WHAP WHAP WHAP with my fuzzy paws at Kilroy. He started to fight back - and momma thought she had a full-scale war about to start on her lap!
But Mr. Grey Butt ran away. Ha ha, Grey Butt, I gots momma.
And then I got all skittish, so I ran away too.

Yay for lap time snuzzles! Do not take that Whapping incident as a setback, Macy. Even kitties who have reached all their milestones must, on occasion, Whap!
Those are some very good milestones, Macy! I am proud of you. Sometimes I whap my brother too. He likes it.

Meh broffur iz tryin ta steal mommeh too. And daddeh. I mommeh's girl dough so i worry more bout dat. But she keeps tellin me no worry i da favorites. But i fink Hans iz daddeh's favorites. Effuree one gits a kitteh.
Daddeh didna even like hans when mommeh picked him outs. Didna fink waz dat coot.
Dis mernin hans was snugglin on mommehs laps so i jump on top of mommehs chair an snoopervise. I let him no who boss round dese parts.

Good for you! We finds that if you are nice to the beans, dey do more stuff for you. Plus, lovin's is good.
So we is furry proud of you for lovin' on your Mom. And sometimes, someone just needs whappin'! So we thinks dat you did right.
Macy, Congrats on the newest milestone!! Woo-hoo!! Some of us Bambinos are still a little lap-shy too, so we understand what courage it took!

You have reached some great milestones, Macy. Jumping in Mom's lap is a great milestone. Kilroy needed whapping for trying to butt in on your Mom time.
